Yirgacheffe (Natural) Light

Yirgacheffe Natural Coffee is a type of coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, made using the natural (dry) processing method instead of the washed method.

Here’s what that means:

• After harvesting, the whole coffee cherries are dried under the sun with the fruit still on the bean.

• Once fully dried, the fruit and skin are removed, and the coffee bean is ready for roasting.

Because the bean dries inside the fruit, natural-processed Yirgacheffe has a bolder, fruitier flavor profile compared to washed Yirgacheffe.

Natural Yirgacheffe tends to be louder, sweeter, and fruitier, while Washed Yirgacheffe is cleaner, brighter, and more floral.
